
This image shows AM 0644-741, or more commonly known as the Lindsay-Shapley Ring, and unbarred lenticular galaxy, and a ring galaxy. The ring lies to the centre left of the image, with many other galaxies visible in the image.

This image shows galaxies NGC 6392 and NGC 6392A in the constellation Octans. This image was very difficult to capture as it is a very small target, and to difficult to process due to the brightness contrast between NGC 6302 and NGC 6302A. The galaxy lies very close to the South Celestial pole. The image contains around 70 hours of data.

NGC 5938, a barred spiral galaxy in Triangulum Australe. Image captured using my PlaneWave CDK17 telescope, FLI ProLine KAF 16803 camera, Astrodon E-series RGB filters, and processed using Pixinsight and Photoshop. Recently nicknamed Araish after radio astronomers found a rare large-scale jet from the galaxy.

This image shows spiral galaxy IC 342, or Caldwell 5, in Camelopardalis. Although it appears a realatively large galaxy, it is difficult to both capture, and process. iI sits low behind the dust and stars of the Milky Way's plane. Imaged using my PlaneWave CDK17 telescope, FLI ProLine KAF 16803 camera, Astrodon E-series RGB filters, and processed using Pixinsight and Photoshop

This image shows NGC 2573, Polarissima Australis, a feint barred spiral galaxy in Octans. The galaxy is 84 million light years away and appears very close to the South Galactic Pole and is a challenge to capture. The image contains 65 hours of LRGB data.

This image shows the edge on barred spiral galaxy IC 5052, in Pavo. It isaround 25 million light years away, and 40,000 light years across. This was imaged from my roll off roof observatory in Cohuna using LRGB filters. Imaging time was around 15 hours, using my PlaneWave CDK17 and FLI ProLine 16803, and Astrodon E Series filters.
